Your 12 or 24 word recovery phrase (sometimes referred to as a “recovery seed”) is your only wallet backup for another device or new card if your card is stolen, lost, or broken. Your phrase should be written down, stored in a secure place, and never shared with anyone. The phrase will only be shown once so it must be written down when it is first displayed.
