Your balance will be the calculated sum of cryptocurrencies that are currently displayed.
How to add custom tokens to your list of currencies within the Arculus Wallet app
In addition to the list of officially supported coins, which you can see here, you can also add custom tokens to your wallet manually. At this time we support adding custom tokens over the Aptos, Arbitrum One, Avalanche C-Chain, Base Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Cosmos Hub, Ethereum, Hedera, Optimism Ethereum, Osmosis, Polygon, Solana, Stellar, Tron and XDC networks. Support for custom tokens on additional blockchains is coming soon. We use CoinGecko's API for our custom token list, so any token that can be found on CoinGecko and is also listed there on one of the above blockchains can be added within the Arculus app. Please follow the steps below in order to add a custom token.
To add via contract address
1.) Tap on 'Manage Assets' in the main wallet screen.
2.) Tap the icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
3.) Select the appropriate Network
4.) Either scan the QR code for the token's contract address, or copy and paste it into the 'Contract Address:' field
Make sure that the contract address you are scanning or entering is associated with the legitimate token and is not an address associated with a fraudulent token. The app will ask you to confirm that you have done so before you can add the token. The correct token contract address can usually be found somewhere on the token's official website or social media page. Arculus cannot check or ensure that you are entering the correct address.
To add via token name
1.) Tap on 'Manage Currencies' in the main wallet screen.
2.) Enter the token name in the search box above the list of supported currencies, and select the token you are looking for.
3.) Select the appropriate Network
You will be prompted to check a box at the bottom of the screen to confirm that you have verified the token you are adding has the correct contract address. Please be aware that multiple tokens can have similar names, especially if a fraudulent token has been created to mimic a legitimate token. When searching by token name, you may therefore get multiple results. Arculus is not able to verify or ensure that you are selecting the correct token from this list of results. For verification purposes, the correct token contract address can usually be found somewhere on the token's official website or social media page.
After adding a custom token via either one of the two methods above, you will see it in your list of currencies on the main wallet screen. You should now be able to transact with this token. If you are experiencing any issues with adding a custom token, or have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team here for further assistance.
