If you are restoring your wallet and your recovery phrase is not working (restore button does not activate), please consider the following:
- Ensure you are entering the words in order as they were displayed to you at wallet creation
- Be sure you are entering the words in lower-case letters with one space between each word
- Verify you have English enabled as a language in your phone's language settings
- Check the spelling of each word to ensure there is no misspelling
If you are still encountering problems, you should check each word against the list of words in the BIP39 word list. A clue that a word may not be correct is that the Arculus Wallet does not display the word in the predictive text as you are entering the word.

The above information is also applicable if you restored an empty wallet instead of your own wallet. Because word order and word spelling matter, it is possible to restore an empty wallet if any word order or spelling is incorrect.
