There are two possible causes for why you may not be seeing your ADA balance as expected after restoring your wallet. One is that your recovery phrase is incorrect, and the other is that you selected the incorrect version of ADA when restoring your wallet. The second possibility only applies to 24-word recovery phrases.

If you had other assets in your wallet as well besides ADA and your balance for those assets is also incorrect after restoring your wallet, then please reach out to our support team for assistance here.

If you had other assets besides ADA and your balance for those assets is correct after restoring your wallet, then please follow the steps below to resolve the ADA specific issue:

  1. Open the settings menu within your Arculus app and tap "Manage Cards".
  2. Select the wallet you currently have restored.
  3. Tap the "Restore" button, and then "Restore Wallet" to confirm.
  4. Create and confirm your six digit PIN.
  5. Enter your 24-word recovery phrase.
  6. Select either the "Cardano Standard" or "Cardano Legacy" option and tap "Restore" at the bottom of the screen.
  7. If your ADA balance is still showing as 0, then repeat steps 1 - 6 and this time on Step 6 select the opposite option of what you selected last time.
