If you are trying to send crypto to your Arculus Wallet and the platform you are sending your crypto from gives an error of Invalid Address, there are a few possible causes.

One cause is that the error is actually referring to the destination tag or memo field, and the sending platform is expecting data to be entered there. Because Arculus is self-custody wallet, a destination tag/memo is not required for Arculus but may be a required field for the sending platform. In that case, here's how to fix the issue:

  1. Try entering any arbitrary information in the destination tag or memo field, such as the number 0.
  2. If that does not work, look for an option to skip that steps or try to proceed with the transaction regardless. Most platforms will allow you to do so.
  3. If you are still unable to proceed, reach out to your sending platform's support team for assistance. They should be able to assist you with getting around that field.

Another possible cause is the asset you are trying to send does not match the receiving address entered. Please ensure the following:

  1. Check that the asset you are trying to send matches exactly to the asset that you selected in your Arculus wallet and copied the receive address from.
  2. If the asset is the same but you are still seeing that error, ensure that the network or blockchain you are sending the asset over also matches.
  3. If both match but you are still seeing that error, please reach out to the sending platform's support team for assistance.
