If you've entered your own wallet address on the send screen, this was likely triggered by pressing and holding the Address field. Doing so automatically fills in your own wallet address, a feature designed for specific use cases, such as unsticking a pending Ethereum transaction or consolidating Bitcoin UTXOs.
How to enter an address correctly
To paste a copied address without triggering this, follow these steps:
- Tap the Address field once to activate it and open your keyboard.
- Tap the field a second time — a Paste button will appear.
- Tap Paste to enter your copied address.
Avoid pressing and holding the field, as this will insert your own wallet address instead.
