Because the Arculus Wallet is a self-custody wallet, Arculus does not use the destination tag/memo when crypto is transferred into the Arculus Wallet. Your wallet address only belongs to you and is accessible only to you as the owner of your private keys. However, most exchanges and non-custodial wallets do require a destination tag/memo when you are sending to them.
You must enter the destination tag/memo in addition to the wallet address when sending to it. If you leave the destination tag/memo field blank or enter the wrong destination tag/memo, your crypto may not be deposited into your correct address. Arculus does not have a way to reverse the transaction if it is successful on the blockchain. If this happens, please reach out to your exchange or non-custodial wallet provider Support team and ask for their assistance. They may ask you for the transaction ID and/or a screenshot of the transaction from your Arculus Wallet.
